Wine Country Cuisine with Italian Roots

After seventeen years as Michelin-recommended restaurateurs, Massi and Jen have brought their love of hosting closer to home in Napa Valley. Our culinary philosophy is steeped in the rich traditions of Emilia Romagna, a region in Northern Italy celebrated for its exceptional food, and where Massi was born, raised, and culinary trained. 

Riva Cucina offers elevated dining to friends, families and colleagues at wineries, private homes, and hotel residences. Our gatherings usually begin with passsed hors d'oeuvres followed by three additional seated courses. Reception-style events are also enjoyed, allowing guests to mingle and connect. For a more casual soirée, fully prepared meals that just need a little finishing are also available for delivery.

We’ve embraced a long-standing committment to sustainable practices, being one of the first restaurants to earn Berkeley’s Green Business Certification over 15 years ago. Our ingredients are hyper-local, procurred from nearby lands and waters, neighborhood farms, and even Massi and Jen’s garden.
